• Jeff Diehl original porcelain crystal tray (18 inches in diameter and 6 inches tall)
  • Tranquility:  This tray was made at Lockbridge Pottery in Meadow Bridge, West Virginia. Fired to 2350 degrees fahrenheit and cooled to 2050. This temperature was held for five hours allowing the zinc silicate cystals to grow in the pool of molten glaze.  During the firing, Jeff even plays music for the pots which influences the way the crystals grow! The glazes capture the energy of the music and freeze it in the fired glaze. The clay and glaze are high-fired, non-toxic and safe for serving food.
