Invite Your Friends for a Private Cruise on George McEvoy's Nellie G II
Invite up to 20 of your friends and family to join you on a two-hour cruise in the Boothbay Harbor area on this beautifully restored ferry boat during the 2023 boating season. The winner of the auction is entitled to have up to 20 people aboard and they will be responsible for their own food and beverages.
The Nellie G II was launched on May 18, 1932 from the Goudy & Stevens Shipyard in East Boothbay, Maine. The vessel was built for Captain Williams of Boothbay Harbor for use in serving the community of Squirrel Island off Boothbay Harbor as a passenger ferry. The boat was built to replace the Nellie G, a steam powered Vessel. The vessel was then sold and operated by Captain Ross Dickson and Harrold Dodge. It was later purchased by R. N. Fish & Son. It is presently privately owned by George H. McEvoy of Boothbay Harbor, Maine. The winning bidder will be able to coordinate your cruise to take place during the summer of 2024.
