Join renowned architectural photographer Pieter Estersohn for a private tour and a drink at his Greek Revival home in Red Hook. The house was built in the Doric style in 1839 by Henry Staats, a descendant of Barent Staats who had purchased one quarter of Pieter Schuyler’s Royal Patent in 1722 and 1725. Meticulously renovated over the past dozen years, its interior was featured on the cover of Architectural Digest and the grounds are being brought back to their 19th century Romantic origins, following the teachings of local landscape designer, A.J.
