Teach Kids Government
Reading matters. Books matter. Kids matter. And good government matters.
Here's a basket of kids' books (and one video) that will help your children learn about government, our rights and responsibilities as citizens, and voting. These books approach the topics from many angles and are fun to read. The basket contains:
- What if Everybody Did That? by Ellen Javernick; illustrated by Colleen M. Madden
- The United States Activity and Fact Book
- One Vote, Two Votes, I Vote, You Vote by Bonnie Worth; illustrated by Aristides Ruiz and Joe Mathieu
- A is for AWESOME! 23 Iconic Women Who Changed the World by Eva Chen; illustrated by Derek Desierto
- NO! My First Book of Protest by Julie Merberg; illustrated by Molly Egan
- The Little Book of Government by Zack Bush and Laurie Friedman; illustrated by Sarah Van Evera
- Let's Vote on It! by Janice Behrens
- School House Rock! Special 30th Anniversary Edition DVD
What a brilliant edition to your kids' library. Happy bidding!
