What do you get when you mix vintage fashion, an autumn color palette, and recycled fabric samples?
Meet Carly! Named after Carly Simon, icon of the 70’s, this chair is a whimsical re-imagining of the Hightower Kona chair. The chair was a flat grayish-blue when we received it. The seat and back were completely reupholstered to a velvet red, while the arms provide added texture and a deeper maroon color. Playing up the vintage look, recycled fabric samples line the interior of the arms like a patchwork quilt and ultimately billow over the outside in a multi-layered and textured array, resembling throws laying over the chairs.
