Indulge in a culinary journey with a seven-course Philippine dinner meticulously curated for six. Each dish, steeped in rich Filipino tradition, promises an authentic taste of the islands, ensuring a memorable dining experience that celebrates the diverse and vibrant flavors of the Philippines.
Also, discover the heartwarming journey of Pilgrim Place residents Sid and Rachel Silliman, who first crossed paths over fifty years ago at Silliman University in the Philippines. As fate would have it, Rachel, a budding English Department faculty member, met Sid as he embarked on his junior year studies. Their bond strengthened in the halls of Claremont Graduate School, where they both achieved their degrees. Their love story blossomed and was sealed at the picturesque Henry Kingman Chapel of the United Congregational Church. While Rachel may have started their marital journey unfamiliar with the culinary arts, she has since evolved into the cherished family chef, ensuring delicious memories for years to come.
