Tazwell Bramlette Hand Carved Bowl #1
I’ve observed that in general the uglier a piece of wood is on the outside the more spectacular it will be on the inside
Tazwell Bramlette is a Santa Fe woodworker who allows the natural beauty of a piece of wood to emerge in his unique bowls. Beginning his career as an aerospace engineer, he uses his knowledge to develop techniques for carving into burls, crotches, roots and stumps. He has won Best in Show at the New Mexico State Fair and several blue and red ribbons for his bowls.
