Naming Rights to the Artist Boat Eco-Art Barn in Perpituity
Naming Rights
1,250+ square foot Horse Barn
Converted to the Eco-Art Barn for campers
and students at the Preserve
The Eco-Art Barn was upgraded from a floorless horse barn to an amazing barn hosting new concrete flooring, a patio pad, large and comfortable work tables, many right-sized benches, a microscope work bench for four, storage cubbies for 16 campers, a double sink and cabinetry, three ceiling fans, plumbing, exterior grade electricity, and led lighting. This is a $45,000 project that is almost complete with the last step of the creation of a nature relaxing deck 32 feet by 32 feet to hang 16 hammocks for sky watching and mind wandering during breaks, transitions, or needs for a “time out” and to provide time for “pure” enjoyment of nature (estimated at $24,000 to build). Bid on this and change the world! Or at least the day of a child when he/she rests in the wind suspended in the air smelling the coastal prairies of Galveston Island. The facility will be used by over 500 youth annually.
