The pen is made from high quality components with fine detailing on the metal parts. To make the pen body, a watercolor image is printed, glued onto a brass tube, placed in a mold, and covered in clear acrylic resin. We quickly put the mold into a pot under pressure where it will stay for over four hours to ensure any bubbles in the resin are removed.

The body is then prepared by hand and turned on a wood lathe. Once the desired shape is achieved, the body is finished with a sealing product to ensure a durable finish and buffed to a lustrous sheen. The pen components and the body are then assembled with the utmost care.

The pen is refillable with any Parker-style refill available from any store that carries stationary supplies. It comes with a protective felt pouch and boxed for giving.
