About the Artist

Andrew Bentson was born December 1982 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, then raised in Southern California from age 3, he now resides in Upland, CA. Educated as a Landscape Architect and working as a Landscape Contractor, Andrew started painting May 2020 after the outbreak of COVID-19 and during a time of personal struggle.

Andrew  brings a fresh perspective to his art, and seeks to create work that “taps into something” unique and existential. He strives to bring a universal appeal to each work of art by reaching into primitive states of humanity and nature. He explores the basic motivations we all share to keep moving forward.
