The Kootenay Herb Gathering is a place where we come together to celebrate plants and people.
We gather together in Salmo, a unique mountain town deep in the Kootenays.
Herbal teachers, students and plant lovers from across Western North American come to take part.
This year’s theme is Embodying the Plant Path. There are as many ways to practice herbalism as there are herbalists in the world.
Diversity is a quality we celebrate as a herbal community. Regardless of training and tradition, the common thread that brings us all together is our desire to deepen connection with plants and the healing qualities they contain.
