Guided Lake Trout Fishing on Saganaga Lake for 3 people

Jane will provide all tackle including specialized Lake Trout fishing equipment. 

Fishing for Lake Trout is a unique fishing experience.  Known as the "King of the Deep," Lake Trout are an elusive but beautiful and hard fighting fish.  They are a thrill to catch and great eating. 

Jane is a long time cabin owner on the Canadian side of Saganaga Lake and an avid Lake Trout fisherwoman.  She is a joy to spend time with.  You will experience the beauty of Saganaga, the largest and deepest lake in the BWCAW, and the unique experience of Lake Trout fishing.

What do you need to bring?

○ Lunch for all parties.
○ Beverages must be in plastic bottles.
○ Rain gear and appropriate clothing for the time of year you visit.
○ A good hat to shade you from the sun, sunscreen, and gloves, are good items to have.

You will need to have a valid fishing license for Minnesota.

If you want to fish on the Canadian side of Saganaga Lake you will need to purchase ahead of time, a non-resident Canadian fishing license, Canadian Outdoor Card, and an RABC.

• You can purchase a non-resident Canadian fishing license and the Canadian Outdoor Card online (link).
• Crossing over into Ontario waters, you will need a Remote Border Crossing Permit, you can apply online (link). Please apply with plenty of time to spare.
