Birds of A Feather

Bird enthusiasts will love this! Use Sibley’s classic Field Guide to Birds of Western North America and Sibley’s waterproof foldout, Backyard Birds of Southern California, to identify the birds that will flock to your new hummingbird, oriole, squirrel buster, and Suet cylinder feeders.

Store your bird seeds in the practical, beautifully-wrapped, Behrens galvanized steel “gift basket” container hand-painted by Pilgrim Place Advancement Coordinator Lisa Grater.

Enjoy a 1,000-piece art bird puzzle, Wonder of Birds paper block and pen, and a porcelain Pie Bird in the spirit of all things birds. Need more? There’s a $25.00 gift card for the Wild Birds Unlimited Nature Shop.

From renowned birder and illustrator David Sibley, the most authoritative guide to the birds of the West, in a portable format that is perfect for the field.

A virtually indestructible, waterproof folding guide covers the most frequently seen species of the region, including illustrations, descriptions, size, and range, all taken from the award-winning Sibley Guide to Birds. Handy foldout format: 6 panels, each 4″ X 9″, laminated.

When a squirrel climbs onto the feeder, its weight
automatically forces the shroud down, closing access to
the seed ports. All squirrels and many large birds are
foiled but not harmed in any way. It pays for itself in saved seeds!

Instructions: After placing the shell in the pie pan, spoon in half the filling. Center the “Pie Bird” on the filling, and spoon the remaining half around the bird’s feet. Cut an “X” in your crust (big enough to fit over the bird’s body). Lay the crust over the bird and fold back the corners of the “X.” Bake according to your recipe.

Includes a designer pen, 580 sheet note block, and decorative ribbon tie. This Winter Snow Birds-themed paper block features images such as bluebirds, nests, evergreen trees, holly berries, and other winter greenery.
