"Leafing Summer Behind"

A fine fall day . . .

The turning leaves glow as the sun disappears behind a distant mountain, sending a streak of light all the way down to tall grass hanging over a little waterfall in the rapidly flowing creek. 

This is a highly textured, impressionistic artwork with the image extending to all sides, so no framing is needed.
