Private Screening of Award-Winning WWII Documentary

This is a fabulous opportunity to discover and enjoy the unique, inspiring and emotionally powerful WWII documentary, The Last Ring Home.

Minter Dial, author and filmmaker, will host a screening of his award-winning short documentary film about the fulfilment of his grandfather's dying wish, decades later. It's a tale of chilling serendipity and heart-warming redemption.

Either side of the screening, Minter will give a presentation that will take you behind the scenes of his extraordinary 25-year journey to uncover this story of courage, love and honour about a charmed Annapolis Naval Academy ring which travelled the world and changed hands six times mysteriously before finally returning home.

The screening and speech takes between 60-90 minutes and can be delivered in private or at a public event, including around a meal if preferred.

The evening can be organised for a group of friends over dinner or equally well for a corporate or fundraising event. Minter has presented it over 100 times to audiences of all sizes. 

Minter will also bring historic documents, artefacts and the film. You just need to provide the projector and screen.

The film, which won the Best International Film at the CHIFF, has been aired on PBS, History Channel and HistoryHit.

Minter will also donate in a signed copy of the eponymous book, which won the Book Excellence Award in the Biography category!
