Bio: Tara Cowles founded Artists Within Makeup Academy in 2003, Alberta’s first accredited makeup school. Tara continues to focus her creative abilities toward taking the academy into the digital age while still achieving the highest standards in the makeup profession.
Tara has also developed her own makeup line, AW03 MAQUILLAGE which retails online and at the academy.
Tara’s career and love of the fashion industry began over 30 years ago in London England where she trained and worked as a makeup artists before opening the academy in Calgary. Her free time consists of travel, furthering her education and spending time with her husband and two boys.
