I feel this project speaks to me because we as artists need to stand up against anything that threatens the beauty of diversity. This project shows that our country was built by people of all colors and creeds. It's important for us to never let hate win. I love the idea presented to me for this project and I hope it conveys the love that is abundant in this world and helps some people realize that hate and separation are not the way to find safety and happiness.
