Usually in the art world we would be talking about metaphoric walls built between people and in that normal course of events, I might not lend my work to the endeavour. The simple truth is my work isn't about people directly. We are not in a normal situation, though. This wall is neither metaphoric or remote. I feel I must do something in the face of it or countenance at a later date why I was silent.
