Life and Death
Primary food staple, shotgun shells

My wife and I  have served the refugee community in a number of ways for several years before it became a political  thing". We have helped assimilate families to their new surroundings, fed, clothed, furnished and helped provide for housing, and advocated for them when they were in danger of being swallowed by bureaucracy or unscrupulous people. We've dined with them and them with us, and worked side by side with many to enrich both our lives and theirs. So it is with great satisfaction that I could be a part of an artistic endeavor that utilized our collective talents to support and extend a cause that if engaged in by everyone, no matter their socio-economic or political standing, could bring real healing to both us as Americans and those who come here to share in the American experience.
