This project felt like an extension of my own work.

I've been making paintings and drawings about construction workers, immigrant workers, and my role as a full-time father on broken pieces of concrete.

As the son of a Mexican immigrant, I think it's important to recognize the people who build, rebuild, and maintain our cities and communities.
People need more perspectives. My work is about giving them that.
