"Hoogology" Genealogical Research Services

Here at the Bidwell House Museum, we have extensive genealogical records relating to the Bidwell family, all the way up to the present day (if you’ve been following our Bidwell Lore blog series, you’ve gotten a taste of that). Have you ever wanted to learn more about your family as well? All the historical resources can be difficult to navigate, so we’re giving you the opportunity to enlist the help of an experienced researcher! Cindy Hoogs, a long-time friend of the Bidwell House Museum, has offered her services. Learn more about your ancestors and family tree or, if you’ve attempted your own genealogical research and hit a snag, let her help you solve a mystery. Includes five hours of research.

It should be noted that results cannot be guaranteed, as recordkeeping varies state to state and city to city (for example, Massachusetts records tend to be more intact than those from New York). However, the utmost will be done to provide the most complete research possible.
