Virtual Outreach Program by Ocean First Institute for any School in the World!
We have conducted virtual outreach sessions with schools across the globe to educate students about the importance of the ocean and why species, like sharks, matter. We have shared the "Truth About Sharks," transformed fear into fascination, and promoted the vital role the ocean plays in our everyday lives. To date, our virtual outreach has reached hundreds of teachers and over one hundred thousand students!
This item will be good for a one-on-one virtual outreach session (Sharks and Their Amazing Adaptations, Why Do Hammerhead Sharks Have the Weird Head Shape?, or Careers in Marine Science) with shark expert Dr. Mikki McComb-Kobza! Each presentation last approximately 45 minutes, can be with any school or group in the world, and will be scheduled with the winning bidder within one year. This item is available for pick-up at the end of the fundraiser event on Sept. 16th at the Rayback Collective (by 6:30 PM) or at the Ocean First Institute Boulder office (3015 Bluff St., Boulder, CO) by Oct. 6th. We can also ship to the winner of this item, with the winner covering the cost of shipping so that we can put our funds right back to ocean conservation work!
