Initial Point Monument

The Initial Point Monument, also known as the Willamette Stone, was created for PLSO to auction in 2020. The display includes a chrome-finished replica of the monument marking the Initial Point of the Willamette Meridian, established in 1851. The monument is mounted in a hand-crafted maple burl. This unique item can be retained and displayed by the successful purchaser for a period of one year, after which it will be offered at the next PLSO annual auction. Proceeds go to the PLSO scholarship fund.
