About Gerry

With over 50 years of woodworking experience, Gerry attended the Kutztown University of Fine Arts with a concentration on woodworking.  He is a Montgomery County native who currently resides and creates his Dulcimer masterpieces in Colmar, Pa.

Gerry started his passion of making these custom Dulcimers as a result of the Pandemic and the want/need for music in his life.  While exploring instruments and music, Gerry came across a YouTube video and found the "Mountain Dulcimer".   Gerry decided to put his master woodworking skills to use and did his research on Dulcimers and the rest is history.  As of today Gerry has had made 23 custom/unique Dulcimers made of reclaimed wood.  Gerry has fine-tuned his builds with the intent to follow the work of his predecessor Homer Ledford who is considered the father of the modern mountain Dulcimer. (Gerry even read his book). tandgheinrich@yahoo.com
