The Bourgogne Clos de Loyse from Chateau des Jacques features crisp flavors of green apple, the lemon and vanilla flavors are subtle but linger on the finish. A great balance of fruit, tannins and acidity. 92 points.

The 2017 Chateau de Carlmagnus is 100% Merlot. On the nose, it exhibits a rich and complex bouquet loaded with juicy black fruits intertwined with earthy aromas and peppery spices. On the palate, Château Carlmagnus 2017 is moderately full-bodied and sapid. The supple and silky tannic structure supports well-balanced aromas of ripe black fruit. The palate is tense and offers a remarkable long finish. 91 points.

Louis Jadot Bourgogne Pinot Noir Couvent des Jacobins is a wine made from grapes from the whole of the Burgundy region in France. This Cuvée is a balanced blend of Cote d'Or and Cote Chalonnaise wines, with the grapes from Côte de Nuits, Saone et Loire and Irancy adding structure and tannins while grapes from Côte Chalonnaise offer fruitiness. This French wine is a true representation of the Louis Jadot style with a silky texture, yet full of plump fruitiness. 90 points.
