Kitty Kat & Gift Certificate - Judy Paxton Bruce

This chair is a handmade Mexican chair purchased from the seller of our home 20 years ago and used in my studio.  The seat is covered by an antique crazy quilt that had been made into a window covering.  Loved the butterfly.  The fringe hanging on the bottom is from the early 20th century.  The buttons were in my mother’s collection, most are old mother of pearl and the tooth is an ancient prehistoric shark’s tooth, the turquoise nuggets are from Arizona.  The gold wood pieces are from old Santos purchased in Chicago from an architectural salvage company where I also found the angels. I collected salt and pepper shakers, most from the 40’s-50’s and the Mr. Peanuts were my favorites.

This item also comes with a hand-painted purse and a gift certificate for $100 toward any Judy Bruce artwork.
