It was released by Marvel and Upper Deck games in 2012 and designed by Devin Low. Included are over 550 cards of heroes, villains, masterminds, and more. In with this core game are cards from the second expansion, Dark City. It includes 350 new cards including heroes, masterminds, villain groups, and henchmen groups. Dark City was released in 2013.
