Artist Bio

Ronald Bayens is considered one of the most sought-after portrait artists in the country. He has been painting professionally for 25 years and his work hangs in public and private collections throughout America, Canada, and Europe. His published work is sold worldwide.

Following in the footsteps of the great masters of the past Ronald not only is an accomplished portrait painter but also paints landscapes, figurative, genre, still-life’s as well as etching. 

Ronald came to The United States from Canada in 1995 to pursue a career in portrait work. His portraits and fine art hang in many leading Universities, Museums, hospitals, and private homes.

He has enjoyed painting commissioned works and teaching students in his previous studio at the Auburn, Alabama historical site, Greystone Mansion, and his studio at The William King Museum, Abingdon, Virginia. He currently resides in Bristol, Tennessee.
