Bend in the Road

Painted from my front yard - this plein air (painted outside) view of the desert landscape and clouds behind me has changed radically. What was lush open desert has (just recently) been fenced in and scraped to bare dirt. This little painting serves as a reminder of the lost habitat. The tree remains, and we wonder what will be built next.
