This painting expresses my unconditional love for my first born grandson Kainoa. He is a year and a half old and means the world to me. He is Hawaiian, Filipino and Mexican. I just enrolled him into swimming lessons he’s what they call a “ Minnow” in the beginners babies classes. The water droplets are tears of happiness and joy he brings to my life. The faint capillaries & veins you can faintly see is the love I have for him. From one first time Grandparent to another they know what I mean. This painting gave me the most trouble flew up in the air from a gust of wind while painting in my outside studio and hours of just staring at it what to paint what I feel. It’s 100%  from the heart and was all impromptu. Nothing I paint is sketched out all from emotions and feelings.
