Spring Floating - Sarah Curley - Framed Original Mixed Media painting measures 14" x 11"
Using the desert garden as my inspiration, I have created a fanciful image of plants that appear to be floating in that essential component of life--water. In this image, I used plants as my starting point, placing them on my prepared silk canvas of cyanotype chemicals. Once the image was set on the silk fabric, I made a fine art print and used colored pencil to enhance the colors of the plant in the final, unique image.
