Beverly is a fabulous local pastel painter from Carefree, AZ. This wonderful, framed painting was created from a photo she took in her driveway of the Prickly Pear plants. You don't need to go far when you live in the desert to find beauty. After the cactus blooms, it leaves rich magenta-colored fruit for the birds snd animals to enjoy. This painting captures the after bloom and the strong shadows and light of one of the most prevalent plants in our desert.
