Beverly is a fabulous local pastel painter from Carefree, AZ. This painting was done en Plein Air at Ghost Ranch in Abiquiu, NM where Georgia O'Keefe lived. I spent a week painting with 100 other artists at different spots around the area. The red rocks were everywhere around the Ranch and the beautiful color and light captured my attention. I could truly see why Georgia spent much of her life painting in this area. The beauty was breathtaking.
