"Hurry Chicks, Into the Sunshine" - Linda Howell - Framed & Matted Watercolor measures 23" x 29".
For 23 years Linda Howell and her husband have been releasing rescued Gambel’s Quail at their Cave Creek home. They celebrate each release with coffee, cake, and conversation with the “rehabbers” that bring the Quail for release. Linda sells her work to support organizations that work to protect wildlife. Watching the chicks and their protective parents run wild in their native habitat serves as inspiration for her art.
Linda has consistently participated, and sold numerous pieces of art, in the annual “Art for Land’s Sake” exhibit for the benefit of Desert Foothills Land Trust over the past 6 years. This piece, as well as two others, has been donated to the Land Trust as her way to give 100% support to the landscape she loves.
