Linda’s Cave Creek home has been the location for the release of multiple rehabilitated birds that are native to the Sonoran Desert. Among them were two hawks and a Great Horned Owl, released by Wild at Heart, a local organization that rehabilitates injured and orphaned birds of prey. The owl was the inspiration for this piece. Linda has also created other paintings and cards to support Wild At Heart.
Linda has consistently participated, and sold numerous pieces of art, in the annual “Art for Land’s Sake” exhibit for the benefit of Desert Foothills Land Trust over the past 6 years. This piece, as well as two others, has been donated to the Land Trust as her way to give 100% support to the landscape she loves.
