Layers of Leaves - Diane C Taylor - Original kiln-formed glass measures 13" x 13" x 1" and is professionally framed in bronze metal.
"This piece reflects my interest in nature, especially leaves and their skeletons. We must protect our lands and the plants and animals on these lands to survive ourselves. It was created with three layers of glass: the bottom layer is a blue-purple, with white "mica" leaf skeletons. Layer 2 is clear glass with copper "mica" leaves. The top clear layer caps the piece. It is professionally framed in a bronze metal frame. Weight: ab. 7 lbs."
