Starry Night on Convex 2 - Mooŕí Wooŕí
Inspired by the Polish/Ukrainian pysanka egg painting tradition and the legendary Fabergé eggs made famous by the Russian Romanov royal family; the theme is Vincent Van Gogh's "Starry Night" masterpiece but painted on a curved surface. This enables the painted scene to be viewed from various angles and the artwork "glitters" with soft light shun on it thereby giving the ornate egg an almost glass-like appearance.
Hand painted and one of a kind; no two painted eggs by Mooŕí Wooŕí are exactly the same.
The accompanying tile stand can also be displayed as its own artwork or used as a base for the painted egg
Five inch tall wooden egg (and accompanying tile stand) painted with several layers of acrylic paints, oil paints, and permanent markers with a final gloss sheen applied.
