1939 British Royal Visit Plate

This Pareek Johnson Brothers English Plate commemorates the visit of King George VI and Queen Mary to the United States in 1939.

After spending two days in Washington DC, the Royals accompanied the Roosevelts to their home in Hyde Park. The visit included a picnic at Top Cottage where Daisy Suckley was one of the guests!
