Hasna Sal: "Veil" Glass Sculpture
This glass sculpture, entitled “Veil,” illustrates the artist’s belief that art should have a voice, should be a champion of change. It pays homage to the victims of human trafficking and domestic violence. She made a cast of a survivor’s face and covered it with a glass veil, the clear translucence representing the lack of love and emotion in the victim’s world.
