The Fox Hill Club features an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Frank Hummel and modified under a Master Plan designed by Dick Phelps. It was officially inaugurated when Lt. Governor John Vanderhoof drove off the first tee in 1973.
The now mature course provides all the challenge and scenic beauty you've come to expect from the region's exclusive private clubs. Its parkland style, 130-acre course, features beautifully manicured fairways lined by some 1,200 trees. Eleven fairway bunkers define the driving areas and 33 strategically placed greenside bunkers challenge approaches to the greens. Along with trees and sand, the course features water hazards on ten (soon to be 12) holes.
The golf course has six sets of tee markers ranging from just over 5,400 yards from the Forward markers to over 7,100 yards from the Championship markers. Aside from the challenge, the serenity and beauty of the course is unmatched in the region.
