Peter W. Charapko "Origin" Oil Painting

Framed oil on canvas painting, measuring 8" high x 10" wide. This small painting bases its concentric form on the idea of "Origin". It is intended to bring to mind various ideas about the beginning of the universe. But instead of fiery reds it is composed of soft yellows and greens. 

Throughout his architecture career in NYC, Peter W. Charapko pursued his interest in drawing and painting that was nurtured during his years at Princeton University where he studied oil painting under abstract expressionist Estevan Vincente. Since moving full time to Rhinebeck in 2017 he has enjoyed working in his new studio both on commissions and from his own inspiration.
