Totally Tulip King Sized Quilt
This beautiful "Totally Tulip" Quilt was made by Soraya Valle of Port Orange, Florida. The quilt measures 88 x 88 - for a king sized bed.
The blue and yellow colors are representative of the blue and yellow Down syndrome awareness ribbon and the yellow tulip represents a loved one with Down Syndrome whose mostly sunny disposition stands out in a crowd.
The quilt theme was inspired by my son, Alejandro, Missouri Star Quilt Totally Tulip quilt tutorial, and the poem Welcome to Holland by Emily Perl Kingsley, which I heard during the first year of my son's life.
For the past 18 years, our family has had the opportunity to enjoy many beautiful things about Holland and have had an amazing amount of support from the Down Syndrome FOUNDATION. They have provided us with education, experiences, and most importantly a place to belong.

Auction items must be picked up at the conclusion of the 2021 Tour of Champions Bowl a thon on 2/21/21 or in Orlando by 3/1/21.
