Heritage River Tour for Four

Take in the beauty of the St. Johns River with four tickets to ride on the Heritage River Tours out of Hontoon Landing Resort & Marina on the St. Johns River. Expires: 2/3/2022

St. Johns River Boat Tours are operated by Hontoon Landing Resort & Marina. Two Hour Narrated Tours are conducted aboard the M/V Bill Flowers, a brand new Coast Guard licensed 35 passenger tour boat, with full bathroom aboard. Tours are conducted by licensed Coast Guard Captains who know the history of the area and the trees, plants, birds and wildlife that will be observed during the tour.

After observing Hontoon Island State Park , the tour continues south and then passes by Lake Beresford, Blue Spring State Park and through an historic cypress logging canal. The tour exits the canal into a tributary—Hontoon Dead River for the return trip to Hontoon. On the tour, you will see the natural beauty of the unspoiled and original Florida - in the same pristine condition it has been over the centuries.

Along with the tranquility of the St. Johns River, you will also see abundant wildlife, including alligator, anhinga, Great Blue Heron, Great Egret, osprey, turtles and much, much more. There are frequent sightings of manatee.

Your tour will be a nature lover’s and photographer’s paradise. The Captain will stop and give you ample opportunity to photograph, view and discuss the wildlife and nature scenes encountered.
