This work by Leon Rene Pescheret was featured nationally in the Arizona Highways Magazine and is considered among his highest valued etchings. These works are difficult to find outside of museum and private collections.

Leon Rene Pescheret (1892-1971) was a versatile and evocative artist, working in the mediums of watercolor, etching and architecture. His extensive travels into the American Southwest, Mexico and further abroad informed his exquisite landscapes and beautiful nature studies. His works are held in numerous collections, including the British Museum, the National Collection of Fine Arts in Washington, D.C., the Library of Congress and many more.

The previous owner used corner tape that was not acid-free and there are marks on the outermost edges of the print's margins.
