Sourced from Inverness Beach on Cape Breton Island, this sea glass is collected and wrapped in Argentium silver by Kent Deal.

Inverness Beach sea glass is a byproduct of the coal industry dating back to the 1700's. Coal barges from New York and Boston used waste glass as ballast and dumped it just before entering the harbor to pick up their load of coal. Over time the glass was ground and etched as it rolled along the sandy floor of the gulf until it washed up after winter storms.
