Carlos Diniz Rendering Print
This is a rendering by the mid-century architectural illustrator Carlos Diniz. While it is an unknown subject, it is possibly for the 1962 Seattle World’s Fair. Screen print on Chinese paper, likely produced by Art Krebbs. Condition: Good vintage condition, minor wrinkles, discoloration, and some wear at edges. Size 19" x 25"
Carlos Diniz (1928-2001) was arguably the last of the twentieth century's great architectural delineators to work in the tradition of the hand-drawn building perspective. Diniz was commissioned by architects and planners to portray sometimes quite rudimentary schemes as they might appear in final form. Diniz worked with a wide range of master architects including Gruen, Craig Ellwood, Ladd and Kelsey, and Frank Gehry.
