"Light as a Feather" by Noemi Chellew

It was the shape of the paddles blade that made me think of a feather at first. Then I realized that just as a paddle aids in movement so does a feather-with a purpose so light and smooth. The design was created after looking at the photos of many different real feathers with a focus on the transition of colours.

This paddle is one of a collection painted by the "Tobermory Ladies".
