"Above the Rookery" V.E. 1/20 is an etching with aquatint and Chine collée, created in 2020 as part of a series of limited edition prints depicting crows and ravens, which are among my favourite birds. The image comes from drawings made and photos taken while observing a rookery in spring, before the leaves were out but when the nests were all occupied.
