Tattoo Removal has come a long way over the last several years as far as options and technology available. While the traditional methods of laser are still available we are pleased to offer an alternative method to laser in the Tatt2away® Tattoo Removal System. T2A works using a similar technique to getting a tattoo, except instead of ink being injected to the skin, a non-toxic solution is used. It feels very similar to getting a tattoo, but the result is the removal of the unwanted ink.
Tatt2Away® treatments are designed to remove the tattoo in a series of visits for maximum results. The number of treatments depends on the size, complexity, and location of the tattoo. An average sized tattoo (4 inches by 4 inches), typically needs 4-5 sessions for removal. Treatment sessions last between 30 minutes to 1 hour and can be done about 6-8 weeks apart depending on how quickly the skin heals.
