You too, Brutus? (PRO)

The theme of betrayal determines the form and content of this work. In my artistic practice I often establish a dialog of two-dimensional and three-dimensional media. Sculptural materials find themselves in the drawings while sculptures act as protagonists of drawings. In this drawing I’m trying to avoid any definite statements or linear narratives. Historical and philosophical references collaborate here with viewers’ own associations in a tension field the work operates in. A sage of Romulus and Remus loses its triumphant overtones and is set in different context here.
